LifePac for 1st grade was okay

I purchased the LifePac Curriculum for First Grade for my daughter. The materials arrived in about a week, which was reasonable. The content is generally good, covering core subjects well, and she adapted to it without too much trouble. I appreciated the structured approach, it definitely helped keep us on track. One thing I noticed though is that some of the science sections felt a little basic, and I often had to supplement with other resources to give her a more in-depth understanding. Overall it works, but it's not perfect.

Easy to register for 2nd grade

I signed up my daughter for Second Grade enrollment last month. It was pretty straightforward. The website walked me through it, and I got confirmation quickly. No issues at all, everything just went smoothly. Glad we chose them.

Good curriculum, slow enrollment process

I enrolled my son in Kindergarten using the LifePac Curriculum. The curriculum itself is solid and easy to follow at home, which was a big plus for us. However, the enrollment process felt a bit drawn out, taking longer than I anticipated to finalize everything. Customer service was helpful when I called, but it would be better if the initial steps were clearer online.

Thinking about enrolling my kindergartener. Is it like a full-time school or more like something you do at home with support?

N Nick Q. 2 months ago
It's a private school, so yeah, full-time. They use the LifePac curriculum.

They use the LifePac stuff but it's def a private school setting, not a homeschool program you run yourself. You'd enroll your kid like any other school.

What grades do they actually cover? Just K-3 or can I enroll an older kid too?

O Omar Patel 2 months ago
It's K-3 only. My niece is in third grade there.

Only up to third grade, so K through 3rd. For older kids, you'd have to look elsewhere.

Are there any scholarship opportunities? Tuition is a bit steep for two kids.

B Ben 2 months ago
They do have scholarship opportunities, you'd need to apply for tuition assistance.

Yes, they offer scholarships and tuition assistance. Definitely worth reaching out to their admissions office to see what's available for multiple children.

Does anyone know if they offer any kind of military discount? My husband is active duty and every little bit helps.

S Sarah Brooks 1 month ago
Yeah, they do. I heard about a military family discount during their admissions process.

Pretty sure I saw something about that. It's usually part of the financial aid or admissions conversation, not a public code or anything.

If I enroll both my second grader and my kindergartener, do they offer a sibling discount?

R Rachel Beaumont 2 months ago
Yes, they absolutely have sibling discounts. It's a common thing with private schools.

They do! You'll want to bring that up during the enrollment process, it's usually applied directly then.
